Certain health conditions may limit medical card certification for less than the standard two years. High blood pressure is the most common reason. HAZ-MAT PHYSICALSOccMed Associates, LP is qualified to do annual hazardous-materials (haz-mat) examinations; biological monitoring for emergency response personnel, in-house haz-mat responders, environmental clean-up personnel and asbestos abatement workers; and deal with any special haz-mat situation. Our providers and staff are available to consult with the your employer representative regarding clarification of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and medical requirements to be in compliance. RESPIRATOR CLEARANCE EXAMSRespirator Clearance Exams are performed prior to the employee being fit tested or required to use a respirator and to current employees who annually give positive responses to any questions on the OSHA Respirator Questionaire..
